Se espera que la economía panameña continúe creciendo a un ritmo sostenido de 5.8% para el2017.

Economía diversificada, la no dependencia de materias primas, y el uso del dólar como monedade curso legal son las principales fortalezas de Panamá, en donde ningún sector representa másdel 20% del PIB.
Un crecimiento económico sostenible acompañada con la focalización de subsidios comoestrategia de gobierno, han contribuido al desarrollo social y reducir los índices de pobreza delpaís.
Un manejo eficiente de la deuda garantiza un ratio deuda/PIB de 37% dentro de los límites de laLey, por debajo de sus pares “BBB” con un perfil de amortización suavizado.
