DESIGNS FOR MY PRODUCTION COMPANY LOGO

We have decided to name our production company R.A.G Productions. We have chosen this from using the first letter of each letter of our names, Robyn, Amy and Gemma. I have gone onto the website ‘Dafont’ and downloaded the font in which I liked best and put it onto Photoshop and played around with the style and text. I have also included print screens of my editing of the text on Photoshop.

Text curved into a circle.

HOW I CREATED MY PRODUCTION COMPANY LOGO

I created a text box and typed in the name of our production company logo, R.A.G. I then made the font bigger so that I could see the text better.

I went onto shapes and drew a circle, the circle is going to go behind the text.

I changed the colour of the circle to a light blue. I liked the colour and also it helped the text stand out on top. I then right clicked the shape and clicked ‘Send to back’ so that the text would come in front of the shape.

I created another text box and added the word ‘Productions’ which I am going to add underneath the R.A.G text.

I felt that the shape of the circle was a boring on its own, I wanted to tie the colours in together and make the bold blue circle stand out, I added a square shape and the right clicked the shape and clicked send to back so that was behind my text and circle.

DESIGNS FOR MY ARTISTS’ LOGO

After typing in ‘AVA’ onto google and looking at the images there are some logos with the same name that we want to use. These logo’s can help give me inspiration for me creating my own logo.

AVA K

I found the style font I wanted to use from the website ‘Dafont’ the name of the font was called ‘foxy’ I then downloaded this font onto my computer.

HOW I CREATED ARTISTS’ LOGO

I created a new text box and then typed in ‘AVA K’. I went to select the font I wanted to change the text to, foxy, once I selected it the font changed. I then made the font bigger so that I could see the text better.

I then wanted to change the colour of my font, I chose the colour ‘Black, Text 1, Lighter’, which was more of a grey colour. I didn’t want to go with black for my logo as every other artists’ logo I had looked at was black.

I played around with the text outline, making the font bold or keeping it as it was. I decided to keep the font as it was as I preferred it this way.

I wanted to make the logo stand out without making the text bold, I felt that the best way to do this was by adding a shadow to the text. I went on the ‘Text Effects’ tool and tried out the shadow in different positions. The position I enjoyed the shadow cast was off ‘Offset diagonal bottom right.’
