Yon Bahiah is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business Management UiTM Shah Alam. Currently, she is also a Fellow with the Institute of Business Excellence, the Research and Consultancy arm of the Faculty of Business. Her background is in Insurance where she holds a Bachelor in Science from Indiana University, Bloomington and a Masters in Science (Finance ) from St Louis University, Missouri USA. Her extensive teaching experience includes almost 28years in the areas of insurance, risk management as well interviewing skills and personal development.

Yon Bahiah has been actively involved in students’ development and she has always believe that each individual if given the proper guidance, motivation and nurturing, can excel beyond their expectations. Her sessions are never dull as she stresses strongly on active learning, group dynamics and team building. Besides being involved in students’ and staff activities at the university, Associate Professor Yon Bahiah has frequently been invited as a speaker at numerous in- house training workshops. Among the organizations that have experienced her training sessions include Malaysian National Insurance Sdn Bhd, MCIS Zurich Sdn Bhd, Jaya Jusco, AMAL Insurance, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad, KWSP, Uitm, TUDM and many more.

On the completion of the program, participants will be able to:-

Describe the Five Quality Principles towards becoming a Superior Performing Organization

Explain steps and tools in applying the Quality Principles(QP)

Apply the QPs to improve performance at the workplace

Applicable to all staff in any discipline of an organization. This program would also upskill staff capability in effective problem solving

Program delivery will be conducted using facilitated discussion, short video clips, group activity, games, class exercises, energizers, role play and active participations

The course fee is RM… per person for a minimum of between 20-22 participants. A lower rate of RM… per person will be given when the number of participants are between 23-30 people. To ensure the effectiveness of delivering the course, the number of participants would be limited to 30 people only.

The course fee include 13 training hours conducted by a trainer and training materials and is not inclusive of meals and accommodation.
