Our Imbewu Yo Phuhliso programme is designed to foster the value creation and preservation habit in our communities. Indeed, the IYP programme is the starting point of the core purpose of Devnomics, which seeks to give “everyone just opportunities to sustainably flourish”. Through the programme, we conduct two types of training:  Personal Money Management (PMM); and Business Money Management. The programme is designed to augment an individual’s capacity from two perspectives:  The individual’s role as a unit of a household and as a party in a legal entity participating in the economy. Everyone stands to gain from this programme. Individuals, households, employers of labour, organised labour/trade unions and government at large benefit, because everyone in the development value chain understands what it means to: live within their means; prevent over-indebtedness and manage debt; knowledgeably negotiate financial transactions; save, invest and create long-term wealth; and control budget and/or other spending plans; etc.
