The 2nd Devonport Food and Wine Festival was an outstanding success with over 30 venues hosting in excess of 70 events. Spectacular Autumn weather welcomed patrons to outdoor events, with over eight thousand people attending ‘Taste the Harvest’. Restaurants opened their doors to guests with tasting nights, wok cooking, tapas and cooking classes. Community groups hosted numerous free events, and our three celebrity Chefs taught us secrets of the trade. So if you attended an event, hosted an event or worked at an event, the Devonport City Council would like to say ‘Thank you’ for supporting this wonderful City and the Devonport Food and Wine Festival.......
