Bible Story Focus: Know Jesus

Peter Denies Jesus & Breakfast on the Beach • Luke 22:54-62; John 21:1-17

Know Jesus Coloring Sheets What You Need: Coloring Sheets below, crayons

What You Do: This week discuss the story while your child colors the coloring sheets. Talk about ways to know Jesus better. Some ideas include, going to church and hearing Bible Stories, reading our bible, talking to Jesus every day.

Foam Dough Sensory Play What you need: Shaving Cream, corn starch, a bowl, a spoon and food coloring. Cookie cutters, cups, bowls, and other small toys to play with. This will be a good hot day inside activity. In your bowl mix equal parts shaving cream and cornstarch adding a drop or two of food coloring to achieve desired color. Mix until dough is desired consistency. If you add more shaving cream you will get a lighter foam dough consistency and if you add more cornstarch you will get a sandier texture. Once mixed let your child’s imagination take over.
