• Digest, Metabolise, Assimilate and Eliminate• Poor digestion in your stomach can lead to food

leaving the stomach undigested causing indigestion, cramps, reflux, stress and inflammation on the rest of your digestive system.

• Unable to convert food to energy• Energy levels will suffer – cravings for sweet food

and caffeine.

• If you can’t assimilate what you consume, your muscles won’t be able to regenerate and grow

• If you can’t eliminate the indigestible waste from what you have consumed you won’t be able to detoxify yourself.

• This can lead to constipation, inflammation and disease.

to be stretched every time• As we eat, signals are sent from the mouth and

the stomach to the brain.• Depending on what we eat, it can take time for our

brain to catch up to our stomach• If we inhale our food, we can easily overeat

• How to assist digestion?• Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice• Stomach acids can begin secreting as soon as you smell

food – cooking food will assist this• Include a good source of protein and fat with each meal.• Protein and fat send signals to your brain that you are

eating sooner than carbohydrates.• Plant food
