THE FIRM

DIGroupArchitecture, LLC is a full service architecture, interior design and graphic design firm. Many firms are skilled in either creative design or project management, but few excel in both. That’s where we differ. Our philosophy is that successful projects require strong design and effective execution. In other words, we believe that product and process are equally important. Through every phase of a project, we integrate aesthetics into the practi-cal demands of budget and schedule, providing a comprehensive service that connects ideas to results.

Our Graphic Studio professionals balance practical considerations with creativity and good design. Whether developing wayfinding signage for a medical center campus or a new brand identity for a small company the team communicates with the stakeholders throughout the design process to understand their needs and desires and works closely with them until project completion.

EXPERIENCE - GRAPHIC STUDIO

Campus-wide Signage & Wayfinding ProgramJFK Medical Center - Edison, NJA Comprehensive overhaul of the Medical Center’s Interior and Exterior Signage & Way-finding Program is ongoing with Phase I of a multi-phase rollout currently being imple-mented.

Special Graphics Program, Pediatric Emergency Department JFK Medical Center - Edison, NJ Using an alphabetical numbering scheme, each treatment bay features a different animal graphic - from Antelope to Moose - applied to the glazed sliding doors. In addition, each room features informational wall graphics and photography describing basic facts about the animal for which the room is named.

Interior Signage & Wayfinding ProgramMonroe Township High School - Monroe Township, NJThe School District approached DIGroupArchitecture with an interesting challenge - how to minimize students getting lost at their brand new 3-story 375,000 SF high school. In order to simplify finding one’s way through the facility, we developed a color-coded lettering system, dividing the floor plan into discreet Areas - A through J.

Tenant Entrances, Directory Monument Signs Princeton South Corporate Park - Lawrenceville, NJThis older flex-space corporate park is comprised of four multi-tenant buildings. Using a met-al panel cladding system, we developed new tenant entrance canopies giving the buildings a more up-to-date look. We also developed Directory Monument Signs at each vehicular entrance utilizing modular components for tenant names.

Designed Main Monument Sign, Vehicular Directional Signs and Building Identification Signs. Signs are currently in fabrication with installation scheduled for May 2012.

Exterior Monument SignsLittle Company of Mary Hospital - Torrance, CACustom exterior monument signage. Slate panels with stainless-steel details, cast-concrete base highlighted with internally lit reveals. Back-lit painted metal directional panels.

Campus-wide Signage & Wayfinding ProgramBoston, MADesigned all custom exterior and interior signage for 1.5 million sqft technology campus. Exterior monument signs, interior directional signage. Wood and stainless steel panels with dimensional letters.

Brand Identity, Exterior Monument SignsUnion Landing Shopping CenterUnion City, CADesigned all custom exterior monument signage including logo for the Shopping Center.

INTERIOR SIGNAGE & WAYFINDING PROGRAM, MONROE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL

MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ

The Monroe Township School District approached DIGroupArchitecture with an interesting challenge - how to minimize students getting lost at their brand new 3-story 375,000 SF high school. In addition, the facility was designed for community use with a TV Studio, Media Center, Performing Arts Center, Athletic Training Facility and a Pre-School, all available to the public.

In order to simplify finding one’s way through the facility, we developed a color-coded lettering system, dividing the floor plan into discreet Areas - A through J. Students and visitors are instructed to first follow signs to the Area of their destination, then to the room number. On Orientation Day all students received a brochure with the building directory and information on how to find their way around their new school.

According to the school principal, the signage & wayfinding program has been a tremendous success. Since completion the township has contracted DIGroupArchitecture to develop similar programs at two other schools.

PRINCETON SOUTH CORPORATE PARK - TENANT ENTRANCES, SIGNAGE & WAYFINDING PROGRAM

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ

Princeton South is an existing older flex-space corporate park comprised of four multi tenant buildings located in Lawrenceville NJ. We were asked to develop a more up to date look to the buildings with added scale and presence by emphasizing the tenant entrances while also adding needed overhead canopies on two of the buildings. This was accomplished with new metal panel systems and support structures designed for each building sharing the same esthetic and tying them together.

In addition we were asked to develop site monument directory signage and building tenant entry signage to further assist in the design and development of the corporate parks new look. Both sign systems were designed with interchangeable components for tenant names and locations providing flexibility as the tenant population changes over time.
