The OCTO Jr is a feature-rich audio DSP processor which o�ers a wide variety of pre-de�ned I/O con�gurations to �t a vast array of applications. The OCTO Jr’s Designer software provides numerous special features, including internal audio storage, built-in scheduler for audio messages, events, bells, etc.. The additional unique features include I/O audio streaming over IP, USB audio I/O, audio recording as well as special VoIP/SIP client for AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) used for web conferencing via the optional OLA card (equipped with our advanced RAPIDO™ AEC processing).

The OCTO Jr comes equipped with 6 x 6 analog audio I/O, plus 3 additional I/O expansion slots (designated as C, D and E slots). The C and D slots are used for inserting 4CH audio I/O cards such as MIC/LINE audio input and balanced audio output. The E slot is used for specialty cards such as our 2CH audio output or any of the special "OCTO-Link" cards (with or without the AEC option using the OLA/OL card). OCTO-Link cards are used to connect a variety of digital remote peripherals such as the OL-AMP (low-Z digital ampli�er), OL-T5 (digital paging console), RWD devices (remote audio I/O plates and controllers) and the ultra-sensitive DGL-MIC microphone. The OCTO-Link bus carries 2 bi-directional channels of digital audio, control data and power over a single CAT5/6/7 cable – max distance over 800 ft (250m). Additional on-board Logic I/O and RS485 control ports, as well as 3rd party control on the Ethernet via UDP. Up to 16 OL-AMP devices can be daisy-chained on a single OCTO-Link port – plus any RWD remote device can be connected to last OL-AMP in the chain.
