1 Go to: www.pearsonrealize.com. Select Try a FREE demo today. Set up your free demo account.

2 Log in using your new demo credentials and select Miller and Levine Biology from the available programs.

1 Click on PROGRAMS and select Miller and Levine Biology. You will be taken to the Table of Contents.

2 Manage your classes, assignments, and reports at-a-glance by clicking on CLASSES.

3 Access your Pearson eText by selecting eText.

Classroom Management Resources

1 Click on CLASSES to manage your classes, assignments, and reports at-a-glance.

2 Use the links under the name of each class to manage assignments, the calendar, students and groups, and class settings.

3 Select Assignments to view an assignment’s status for the class. You can make edits to the assignment and preview the assignment on the right.

4 Select Calendar to view all class assignments by week or by month. You can auto schedule lesson plans for the entire year, and block days out in advance!

5 Select Discuss to begin a discussion topic.

6 Select Students & Groups to view student information, add students, and view assignments.

Getting StartedChapter Navigation

1 Navigate to the Table of Contents by selecting PROGRAMS and then selecting Miller and Levine Biology.

3 Resources are available to support each chapter. These can be seen by selecting Teacher Resources next to the bolded T at the chapter homepage.

2 Select a chapter to pull up all of your Teacher Resources and activities.

4 Each lesson has additional teacher resources including STEM activities, chapter and lesson labs, editable presentations, end of chapter assessments, etc.

Accessing Teacher Resources

Teacher Resources can be accessed at the Chapter Level and Lesson Level Please note that not all individual Lessons have Teacher Resources specific to that lesson.

1 Select PROGRAMS from the top of the Realize screen to view Miller & Levine Biology.

3 Select Go Back in the top left- hand corner of the screen to leave this teacher resource and go back to the chapter level.

2 Select a particular teacher resource from the right-hand side of the screen under Teacher Resources.

4 To view Teacher Resources at the lesson level, select Lesson 1 What is Science, for review purposes.

5 Under the header Learn, navigate to a lesson Investigation and select Teacher Resources next to the bolded T to reveal available Teacher Resources specific to this lesson.

6 Select a resource to open it up in preview mode and/or to download it.

1 Click eText at the top of the page.

3 The easy-to-navigate Table of Contents lists all the chapters and units, and also includes a glossary and any saved bookmarks.
