About the Programme

This DipIFR course is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards. You will also learn how to apply them, as well as the concepts and principles which underpin them.

On completion of the Diploma candidates should be able to:

• understand, explain and apply the IASB’s Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting• apply relevant financial reporting standards to key elements of financial reports• identify and apply disclosure requirements for companies in financial reports and notes• prepare group financial statements (excluding group cash-flow statements) including subsidiaries, associates and joint arrangements.

Fees ACCA DipIFR Exam Preparatory Course: BD 1,250 - (BD 350/- per module)

Notes: The fee is inclusive of tuition and study materials only. Registration, subscription and exam fees are payable directly to ACCA.

BIBF offers a comprehensive study programme and student support for ACCA DipIFR. Tuition (classroom training) is

available for all four modules and covers review of the syllabus and practice exams.

ExamsThe exams for Diploma in International Financial Reporting will be held twice a year in June & December. Exams for the CertIFR can be taken any time during the year.

Who will Benefit

The DipIFR is ideal for accountants, auditors and finance professionals already working in a reporting / auditing role who wish to gain or improve their IFRS knowledge, and obtain an international specialist qualification.

Eligibility Criteria

Professional accountants or auditors who work in practice or business, and qualified accountants or auditors are eligible to apply for this qualification.Applicants who wish to apply for the DipIFR Exam and are working in practice, but not yet qualified, may still be eligible, provided the following requirements are met:

• Two year’s relevant accounting experience (by submitting a letter from their employer) or• A relevant degree plus two years work experience or• ACCA’s Certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) plus two years work experience. or• Candidates who do not meet the above criteria may opt for the CertIFR Examination. or

• Request for an Attendance Certificate from BIBF.
