Let me tell you a story. It’s my story. This is not just an ordinary story but a life changing

story. I was a cubicle dweller for years in a job which sucked whole energy and life out of

me. Working for straight 12 hrs a day for 6 days in a week (sometimes on Sundays too)

made me feel that there is nothing in life except endless hours of work, rat race to

achieve which is unseen till date and office politics with whom I detested from the

bottom of my heart. My diminishing energy and passion for work always made me

spend sleepless nights in the fear of getting charge sheeted for non compliance of proper

work ethics.

And one day my fear became true. On that bad day I received a letter, giving me stern

warning that this is last warning before firing me out of office. I knew that time; water is

flowing above my head and things are getting out of control. I can still remember

whisperings of my colleagues who were filled with joy that at least I got what I deserved.

THE LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE

When I was a kid, my grandma always told me not to mess with cats in closed room

because they become violent when they see not a single way to escape. In my opinion

this theory applies to humans too. Humans tend to procrastinate till the time alarms

with red signal. My worst professional day at office became my best life experience

which gave me power to take resolution to get out of cubicle life for a while and seek the

truest meaning of life and the only thing that came to my mind was to go for an

Adventure Tour for a fortnight. Getting leave was not difficult for me as my manager too

felt it strongly that I need a break of at least a fortnight.

I can’t forget those 15 days of my life at different places of Himalayas, camping with

strangers and sensing the peace at mind and spirituality at heart. I was surprised to see

that I could feel the energy making its way to my life which I thought has gone forever.

From mind to heart, I was totally a new person with much more glow on face, feeling

peace with myself in the courteous lap of Mother Nature at Himalayas. The time not

only gave me power to see things from different perspective but also allowed the rest

which my body was in much need. Those 15 days of adventure showed me a true path

where to take life as well as career changing decisions.

I was reading an article at LINKEDIN which stated that around 85% of professionals or

office goers hate what they are doing professionally. In others words 85 people out of

100 are doing the work which he or she does not feel suitable to do for whole life and

HATE THEIR MONDAYS and biggest reason for such a high number of people is THEY

DON’T KNOW WHAT THEIR TRUE CALLING IS. Talking in terms of broader

philosophy, there are huge number of people who still need a much needed search for

their true calling and I don’t think there is anything nobler on this earth than to help

people find their true calling. You being an ADVENTURE and TRAVEL providing group

of souls (I won’t call you company…….it sounds too professionals for those who are

working for a noble cause) are doing one of most auspicious jobs on earth that’s why I

call you MODERN DAY BUDHHA.

WHY NOT MOTIVATE PEOPLE TO TAKE SAME PATH WHICH I CHOOSE

TO SEEK REAL HAPPINESS

Can we motivate millions of those cubicle dwellers to take bold decisions in order to make them LOVE THEIR MONDAYS. Can we make them hear the real stories of transformation? Don’t you think it is our moral duty to alleviate pain and substitute it with real joy of success?

Rabindra Nath Tagore, the Nobel Prize winner for literature in 1913 once said “If you can change even a person’s life in positive way, your purpose being on this earth is fulfilled” With thousands of people desperately looking for a way to freedom, don’t you think you should take the charge?

When host of that serial asked his secret of fame and professionalism he answered…….DUE TO MY TEACHER AND PRACTICE…………He explained how his teacher taught him to concentrate on every single details.
