CRICKET With the outstanding 2021 cricket season we are currently experiencing, it has become very clear that we are far ahead of the other schools in our league. We were fortunate to get the green light from Northern Titans to start small-group practices. The MRP 3-Team Tournament, together with the Club Cricket for the 2021 season, has made the players very excited. We can see the value in playing Club Cricket and would like to give our learners the opportunity to continue to improve their cricket skills. With our Platinum and Gold status, the players will have better competition during club matches, enabling growth. Herewith, please find the link to the information letter for Club Cricket. We hope to see as many of our players at the club matches as possible: Midstream Ridge Club Cricket 2021/2022 UNIFORM SHOP HOLIDAY TRADING HOURS Thursday, 23 September 2021 07:00-15:00 Friday, 24 September to Wednesday, 6 October 2021 CLOSED Thursday and Friday, 7 and 8 October 2021 08:00-16:00 Monday, 11 October 2021 08:00-17:00 From Tuesday, 12 October 2021 07:00-17:00 STUDY COURSE Should you be interested in your child doing a study course in preparation for the examination in November, please see the attached information.

Dear Parents

ATHLETICS – TERM 4

With the new Covid-19 level 2 measures implemented by the government, we would like to

provide learners with the opportunity to participate in an Interhouse Athletics Meeting on

Thursday, 21 October 2021. The Interhouse Athletics Meeting is for Grade 1 – 7 learners. The

Grade 1 athletics’ trials will take place on Wednesday, 13 October 2021, and the Grade 2 and 3

trials will take place on Thursday, 14 October 2021, during school.

We have decided to set up a revised athletics training programme, where learners can practice

before the Interhouse Athletics Meeting to improve their athletics techniques. This customized

programme includes different exercise times, for the different age groups, on different days.

Covid-19 measures will apply to all events. The practices are voluntary and no learner will be

disadvantaged if they do not attend these sessions.
