Haramain High-Speed LineCATENARIES & SUBSTATIONSThe 450 km long railway network is Saudi Arabia’s first high-speed inter-city line connecting Makkah to Madinah in 2h 52min with its train achieving speed of more than 300km/h.

SDCEM equipment is design to suit to the environmental constraints such as Saudi Arabia’s extremely sandy and hot environment (more than 50°C). SDCEM provided disconnec-tor switches for the line’s catenaries and substations and electrical universal smart drives to operate disconnectors.

Marmaray Railway Engineering ProjectTRACTION SUBSTATIONSThe Marmaray Project represents the first physicalrail link between Europe and Asia. It connectsIstanbul’s Asian and European sides through a 76.3 km subway-type railway tunnel under the Bosphorus strait.

The project includes upgrading the 63 km lines of commuter train and the 13.6 km submarine rail tunnel with two tracks under the Bosphorus.

SDCEM provided disconnector switches, load break switches and control & monitoring solutions to EYM Instalaciones for the substation traction project.

Double-Track High-Speed Railway Line Tithorea-DomokosURBAN & TUNNELThe Tithorea-Domokos Line is a 106 km long line located in central Greece aiming to replace the mountainous section of the existing single-track line. The new alignment is designed for train speeds of 160-200 km/h and is expected to reduce travel time between Athens and Thessaloniki line down to 3.5 hours.

S-COM is a control board fully integrated to smart operating drives MR41E / MR164E for remote control and monitoring of MV / HV switching units throughout their operational life.• Set in factory, S-COM allows secured operation of switching unit and quick information

sharing (through standard and secured protocols) and insures interoperability with existing equipments and smart grids, allowing future modernization and HV IED grid integration.

• Designed according to IEC 62271-1, IEC 62271-102, IEC 60870-3 and EN 50121-1-2-5.
