Terms & Conditions

CONFIRMATIONTentative bookings must be confirmed within five (5) days. To confirm and secure

your function, the booking form accompanied by the requested deposit must be

received within five (5) days of the initial booking. NE Food reserves the right to

cancel any bookings not confirmed after five (5) days without any further correspondence.

PAYMENTFull payment is to be made prior to the function or is to be paid at the time of your event.

If agreed by the Event Manger an invoice may be issued after the function. Payments can

be made by cash, credit card (AMEX, Mastercard & VISA accepted) or EFTPOS.

*Please note surcharge fees may apply.

DEPOSITS/BOOKING CONDITIONSThe following deposits, hire fees and booking conditions apply to secure a booking in our venues;

The Residence: $250 hire fee Tuesday - Thursday $550 hire fee Friday - Saturday Minimum of 20 guests

The Cellar: 4 hour hire $250 deposit - full payment required 3 days prior to function Minimum spend* $1000 Tuesday - Thursday Minimum spend* $1500 Friday - Saturday *Must be spend on premise. No takeaways available.

Maximum of 10 guests **As part of our "Cellar Experience" we aim to offer something different from your normal expectations so choose to only pour Cape Grim Still & Sparkling Water which will be charged on consumption.

These fees and conditions are vaild from January to October. November & December conditions

may vary during the peak season.

WEDDINGSFor all weddings, a $1500 deposit is required to secure your booking. This includes

two consultations with our Event Manager. Further meetings may result in a consultation fee.

QUOTED PRICESEvery effort will be made to maintain the prices originally quoted however they are subject to

market prices and may change. All prices are confirmed three (3) months prior to the event.

All prices quoted are inclusive of GST.

CANCELLATIONSFor cancellations the following conditions apply:-

• All cancellations must be notified in writing • Cancellations more than thirty (30) days prior to the function date will result in a full refund of any deposit • Cancellations less than thirty (30) days prior to the function date will result in the forfeit of any deposit

SUNDAY & PUBLIC HOLIDAYSSundays and Public Holidays surcharge of 20% of the total function cost applies if your event

falls on one of these days.

CONFIRMATION OF NUMBERSMenu selection, beverage arrangements and accurate attendee numbers must be confirmed

at least ten (10) days prior to the function. This will be the minimum number of guests that

will be catered and charged for. Our billing will be the guaranteed numbers or

final head count for the event, whichever is greater.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTSWe will endevour to cater for dietary requirements where possible, however prior notification of at least

ten (10) days is necessary and a surcharge may apply.

SET UP & EQUIPMENT HIREAll layout and room arrangements must be confirmed at least ten (10) days prior to the function.

Depending on the clients requirements, equipment hire may incur an additional cost.

DAMAGESThe organiser of the function is financially responsible for any damages sustained on premises or

to NE Food property during the event. No smoke machines, confetti or adhesives on walls is

permitted in our venues.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOLIn accordance with legislation, alcoholic beverages will not be served to persons under the age of 18 years,

or to any person considered to be intoxicated. NE Food Cafe Pty Ltd. & The Dispensary are committed

to the responsible service of alcohol. Valid photo identification may be requested to verify proof of age.

SECURITIES & INSURANCENE Food does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property left on the

premises prior to, or after a function. If a security guard is required, it will be at the cost to the client.

The Event Manager reserves the right to decide whether a function requires a security guard.

CAKEAGEWe wish to advise that a cakeage fee may apply if you provide your own cake.
