10/11/2017 The project firstly introduced Boğaziçi University Faculty of Education Fall Term Information Sharing Meetings in which professors give lectures about current educational topics and projects. The seminar was announced a few weeks ago in faculty of education and also professors and teachers got an e-mail which includes general information about project. Presentation was held on November 10. There were 25 participants who were professors, students and staffs from different departments. Mine Gol Guven and Nalan Babur was both attend the project introductory session and Babur started to give information about the project with a slideshow. Disability statistic in Turkey and problems in lives of parents with disabled children was shared with audience. Afterwards, Guven explained the aim of the project. Information about demographics of participants and variables of study were shared with participants. Then, result tables which compares participating countries’ situation were shown. At the end of the presentation, recommendation in both macro-micro level were indicated. After presentation, questions of participants were answered. The questions were generally about how this project can be beneficial and sustainable in long term and how this project can contribute to government policies.

17/11/2017 The project was introduced in Symposium on Culture of Living Together which was organized by Boğaziçi University Peace Education Application and Research Center on November 17. There were nearly 50 participants who were professors, students and people with personal interest in peace education and in living in a culture of togetherness. Symposium was announced with different channels such social media, posters and personal contacts. In symposium, there was a session which was called as “Exemplary Projects in Peace Education”. Guven participated in the sesssion as both moderator and speaker. She gave information about the aim, methods, process and stakeholders of the projects. Moreover, she explained in what ways this project can contribute to peace and inclusivity in the society.
