collaboration with the city of Eeklo• EANDIS: additional study

conclusion: global district heating for the city of Eeklo (2 scenarios) is not profitable in the current context

• Permanent screening of opportunities for an ‘industrial large-scale consumer’ as starting point for the development of district heating

• New Provincial Spatial Implementation Programme Balgerhoeke as an opportunity for the development of district heating in a future industrial zone
