DIVAC Vacuum Circuit Breaker DIVAC ® is a three-pole circuit breaker that uses vacuum interrupting technology. The Divac vacuum circuit breakers are suitable as Withdrawable units for air-insulated Metalclad switchgear, as well as “open air” or “doghouse” configurations. Due to their vacuum switching capability and simple, robust construction, Divac circuit breakers are highly reliable and have a long life expectancy. The Divac series uses a stored energy spring operating mechanism. The basic version is fitted with a manual spring charging device or with an optional charging motor, making the breaker suitable for auto-reclosing and multi-shot auto-reclosing fast cycles. Trip-free feature The Divac operating mechanism will always initiate an opening command prior to a closing one (trip-free feature). If an open command is initiated during the closing process, latch #2 will be opened (using the contact pressure stored, energy free), which will, in turn, open the breaker. DIVAC Vacuum Circuit Breaker
