DIVAC Vacuum Circuit Breaker
DIVAC® is a three-pole circuit breaker that uses vacuum interrupting technology. The Divac vacuum circuit breakers are suitable as Withdrawable units for air-insulated Metalclad switchgear, as well as “open air” or “doghouse” confi gurations.
Due to their vacuum switching capability and simple, robust construction, Divac circuit breakers are highly reliable and have a long life expectancy.
The Divac series uses a stored energy spring operating mechanism. The basic version is fi tted with a manual spring charging device or with an optional charging motor, making the breaker suitable for auto-reclosing and multi-shot auto-reclosing fast cycles.
Trip-free feature
The Divac operating mechanism will always initiate an opening command prior to a closing one (trip-free feature). If an open command is initiated during the closing process, latch #2 will be opened (using the contact pressure stored, energy free), which will, in turn, open the breaker.

Construction Philosophy
Sheet steel base frame that supports the poles and houses the operating mechanism
Circuit breaker made up of three cylindrical poles
All circuit breaker live parts are housed inside an epoxy resin en-velope, which eliminates ground arc fault possibility
