Thinking about the iPad both at school and at home, what are your favourite things about it and why?

What do you think being an iTeach Digital Leader means?

Tell us one thing you have done using the iPad, either at home or at school, that you think was really good.

One of the jobs you might be asked to is to update the school website. This is a very big responsibility. Can you think of an example of when you had to take responsibility for something and explain how you managed it?

Can you think of an example of when you worked in a group of people? What skills did you have and what ones did you learn?

How do you think teaching adults will differ from teaching other pupils?

Interview Questions - Secondary.

Tell us why you think you should be appointed as an iTeach Digital Leader. Remember to talk about the skills you have that you would need in the role.

Throughout your life so far you may have been involved in a number of organisations or sports teams outside of school, or you may be responsible for something important at home. Could you please outline one project you have been involved in and tell us what your role was within the project?

Tell us one thing you really like about what the iPad can do. This can be anything, in-side or outside of school.

It is important for people to be able to access information online. Could you talk about some of the dangers posed by accessing the internet and also comment on what you would do if there was a problem with inappropriate content online?

Could you talk about one really good piece of video online that you have used to help you in an area of learning in school.

If you were successful in becoming a Digital Leader, could you outline one initiative that you could develop to help parents improve their digital schools.

An interview is a great way to find out important information about the skills of a prospective iTeach Digital Leader. We have also found that instead of a formal inter-view process, it is very useful to ask pupils to prepare a short 5 minute presentation on the iPad prior to the interview on 'One great thing' with the iPad. This would be an excellent way to assess their knowledge of the iPad and their ability to communicate with others in an effective way.
