for homes. They had to move.
More people needed more food.To grow more food, more
land was needed. The wildanimals had less and less
room and food. Soon therewere fewer wild animals.
Insects ate much of man'scrops. So man began spraying
poison on the crops to killthe insects. But the poisonalso killed birds and other
animals that ate the insects.
More pcopleneeded more things.
More factories were built.
