1. About eHRMS

eHRMS, or Electronic Human Resource Management System, is a smartphone app for salary management of teachers in primary and secondary schools run by the Government of West Bengal.

1.1 Objective of eHRMS AppThe objective of e-HRMS is to deal with financial as well as human resource management system for Grant-in-Aid employees under School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.

The eHRMS Mobile application has been developed with a mission to provide an easy access to employees to various important services related to HRMS including monthly & annual pay statements, PF Statements and various notifications.

1.2 Features of eHRMS AppThe salient features of the eHRMS App are as follows:

● OTP based authentication for Login● Employee Dashboard● View Employee Profile ● Generation of Monthly Payslip● Generation of Annual Salary Statement● Synchronised with the eHRMS website www.ehrms.wbsed.gov.in

1.3 Benefits of eHRMS AppThe main benefits of the eHRMS App are the following:

● Direct Communication with employees through Notifications● Access to pay statements & other important documents● Real-time Access to HRMS data



1.4 Installation of eHRMS AppThe process of installation of the eHRMS App is given below.

● Users can download the app using QR Code provided in the website and install in their respective mobile device.

● After installing the App, user can log into the system using OTP based authentication with pre-registered mobile numbers.

● Senior Officials can monitor the usage of the App from their Dashboard



2. Working with eHRMS App

On launching the eHRMS App in a smartphone, the following landing screen is displayed, as shown below.

2.1 Login DetailsThe eHRMS App login button is shown below. Click it to start the login process.

The login screen appears, as shown below.

On clicking the down arrow beside Select School Type box, two options are given. The options are Primary and Secondary schools, as shown below. Select any of the radio buttons beside the relevant option.

In the Enter Mobile No. field, type in your registered mobile number, as shown below.

Click Submit button. You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) for authentication.Type in the OTP in the OTP field, as shown below.

Click the Submit button. If you have not received the OTP, or the OTP has timed out, click the Resend OTP button. You are greeted with the welcome screen after successful login, as shown below.

2.2 Features of eHRMS

After successful login, the following options are available to the user:● Profile View● Payslip Generation● Annual Salary Statement● Capture Image● Notification



2.2.1 Profile View Click the Profile View tab. The Profile View screen opens, as shown below.

Using the down arrows beside the Select Month and Select Year fields, select the month for which you want to view the payslip, as shown below.

Click the Submit button to generate the payslip.



2.2.3 Annual Salary StatementClick the Annual Salary Statement tab.

Using the down arrows beside the Select Year field, select the year for which you want to view the annual salary statement, as shown below.

Click the Submit button to generate the annual salary statement.



2.2.4 Capture ImageClick the Capture Image tab.

2.2.5 NotificationClick the Notification tab. The most recent notifications meant for the user are displayed.
