The certificate program started to be offered online January, 2005 and continues to the present. Led Reading and Writing Program efforts to develop unique literacy certificate programs with Jefferson County Public Schools (Adolescent Literacy) and Cherry Creek Public Schools (Reading Recovery, Primary Literacy, Literacy,Gr. 4-12) to meet needs for highly qualified reading teachers. At reduced costs, teachers complete 12 hours in these programs co-developed and taught by the district and university faculty on site within the districts. The program with the Cherry Creek School District continues to the present.
