/ Meeting the donor– our impressionDonor Allen is a very sweet, happy and fun young

guy. We especially like his self irony, which regu-

larly puts a smile on our faces. He creates many

funny comments about both himself and all

kinds of other things. His ability at being able to

laugh at himself and many small, strange, daily

situations, makes us feel very joyful too.

Allen is just in general a very helpful and

well-mannered guy, who is very talkative, which

always makes it a big pleasure when he visits the

clinic.

We also have the impression of Allen being a

goal-oriented and diligent person, who knows

that hard work is necessary if one wants to

achieve one’s dreams and goals in life.

Allen has a classic scandinavian appearance, with

intense, grren eyes and light, ruffled hair. And

always with a warm and contagious smile on his

lips.

Allen is taking an education to become a chef

and has plans to further educate himself in food

engineering. Even though he has a very busy dai-

ly life, with his work days, he prioritizes coming

to the clinic and being a sperm donor, because he

has a big wish to help families/lone by making

their biggest wish come true.

Above his large interest for cooking and food

products, Allen also has an interest in music.

He is quite musical, and he both sings and plays

many different instruments, including guitar,

piano, jew’s harp, drums and percussion. Allen is

a very modest person, who was previously a bit

shy to perform music in front of others. But this

he has gotten over. He has actually been so lucky

as to get two whole albums of his own music

published, which proves how talented he really is.

In his free time, Allen also plays tennis and

squash, and he has previously really enjoyed

theatre and acting.

It means a lot for Allen to have close bonds

with friends and family. Allen is very close to his

mother’s family, especially his grandfather and

grandmother, who have played big roles through-

out his entire life.

All in all, Allen is an incredibly warm person. The

opportunity he has as sperm donor, is his utmost

concern and it means all the world for him to be

What are you most proud of and why?I have recorded two albums that I have published. I am proud of this because I have always been a bit scared to show my music to others and I overcame that fear

Describe your fondest childhood memory A trip to the circus with the whole family. When I was younger, neither my father nor my mother had a lot of money so it was always big when we went on trips like that.

We had front seats and I got a candyfloss with the size of my dad’s head and a big cooldrink that where both thor-oughly enjoyed.The show was a classic arena show with jugglers, clowns, seals, elephants and much more.This is one of my childhood memories I will never forget

Describe some of your best experiences Attending boarding school is probably one of the best ex-periences I have had in my life. Living so close with a group of people you grow so close to that they almost become family is fantastic

What did you dream of becoming as a child?Rockstar, actor or a chef like my dad

Describe your relationship with your family?My mum and dad got divorced when I was very young, so I have mostly experienced the family separated. I have a very close relationship with my mum’s family, especially my grandmother and grandfather who live almost right next to where I live. My dad’s family I unfortunately do not have as much contact with as I would have wanted as most of them live in Jutland, but I see them to birthdays, confirmations and similar things

What does your family mean to you?I owe everything to my family and my friends. I have been extremely lucky to have been blessed with people who, no matter what I have put my mind to, have supported me the whole way. They have shown and taught me more than any school book could have and I would be nothing without them

What does friendship mean to you?I owe everything to my family and my friends. How would your friends and family describe you?My mum says with few words that I am a fun and nice man who could easily avoid many of his problems by just saying no.My dad says I am a hardworking and driven person who can not be stopped when I set my mind on something. He also says that I am probably the least judgmental person you will find. My best friend describes me literally as: “One of the best people you can find despite you being com-pletely crazy.”
