Heat Pumps to Reduce Running CostHeat pumps are cost effective and save up to 70% in heating energy. They utilise heat from the surrounding air and via a mechanical process heat the swimspa. All Catalina swimspas are manufactured pre plumbed for heat pump installation.

Pro-SwimA swimming and coaching aid fitted as standard to several models. It is a unique feature (or option) to aid all swimming abilities from the learner swimmer to the serious aquatic athlete. Pro- Swim allows the swimmer to maintain a high body position while working against resistance at maximum

effort. The Pro-Swim forces efficiency while increasing strength and confidence. It allows swimming for sustained long periods without the need to keep turning.

All of our swimspas and exercise pool models can be installed either partly or fully in-ground. Where a standard unit is being installed below ground the main consideration is access to the equipment. A service pit will need to be constructed for the full depth of the model. We can offer the Orinoco, Medley, Amazon, Relay and Marathon as specially designed in ground models to be part (50%) installed below ground. The benefit of the in-ground design is that you do not need to leave an access area in the pit as all of the equipment is located at high level in the cabinet. On average each in-ground model is 24” (600mm) longer than its standard counterpart. For the exact dimensions on a particular model please contact us.

We have added an option of a new dimension to the Orinoco, Amazon and Relay. These can be ordered with a sundeck, transforming them in to the perfect summer garden oasis. The models listed have been extended to feature a padded sundeck, then to top off the experience each Sundeck model is fitted with a cooling mister system to keep you cool whilst enjoying the summer sun.

For those clients who are looking for a pool with extra depth we offer all of the Amazon fitness pools in either 1.3M or 1.58M. To achieve this we finish our swimspas with a beautiful wood effect tongue and groove synthetic cabinet with a 10 year guarantee. These are not large one piece side sections but carefully hand crafted cabinets with attractive radius corners. One of the Catalina swimspas’ unique features is that they are fitted with service access doors that have a security lock and key.

The Directors and staff at Catalina Spas Ltd recognise that environmental protection is one of the most important issues facing the world today. Through continuous commitment we remain determined to identify potential for increased efficiency, implement waste minimization, monitor and reduce energy consumption and our consequential emissions of harmful greenhouse gases.

As part of our commitment we operate our own recycling plant at our Salisbury distribution centre and all Catalina spas and swimspas meet the standards set by the California Energy Commission standards who promote efficiency and conservation.
