Liberty HealthShare exists specifically for everyone who either purchases healthcare for themselves and their family, or for people who want to control their own healthcare. Liberty HealthShare is not insurance. It simply unites like-minded Americans to share medical costs together.

The modern medical cost-sharing movement was developed by a small band of Christians to practically demonstrate how to ‘bear one another’s burdens.’ Liberty HealthShare is a program name of the Gospel Light Mennonite Church Medical Aid Plan, Inc. and has been operating without interruption since 1995.

Healthcare cost sharing is currently being used by thousands of families nationwide as a cooperative means of sharing medical needs. The leadership team of Liberty HealthShare was there when the movement began and has over three decades of experience. They now lend their expertise to bring the same cost-sharing methods enjoyed by thousands of families to like-minded individuals everywhere. Through Liberty HealthShare, the opportunity to share medical expenses is open to anyone who subscribes to our Shared Christian Beliefs.

Liberty HealthShare provides an easy enrollment process, a transparent, secure, on-line payment system, and a process to connect like-minded people together in a community of support.

We Examine Costs Upfront.By putting you, the self-pay patient, in charge of your care, unnecessary costs and procedures are eliminated. After all, it’s your money! You review the treatment you receive, and you approve the costs. Plus, we have a team of professionals that will advocate for you throughout your medical incident to manage your care efficiently.

We Share in Actual Costs, not Projections. We are not insurance and therefore do not engage in actuarial projections. We do nottry and predict mathematically the expected medical costs of our members. We are a non-profit and our job is to keep costs down. We share in the actual costs incurred by our members.

We Are Health ConsciousOur members live healthy lifestyles, and their costs are typically less. We emphasize spiritual principles of wellness, health and prevention. Health conscious people tend to have fewer bills, lower costs and more rapid recoveries.

Liberty HealthShare has No Network.Liberty HealthShare does not tell you which healthcare provider you can use. You choose your own doctor and hospital! It puts you in control of your healthcare. Nationwide.

Liberty HealthShare is not driven by profit. We are a non-profit organization. We operate on a flat $24.00 monthly administrative fee received for each enrollment whether single, couple, or family.  We also receive Annual Membership Dues.

Liberty HealthShare ProtectsMembers Against Excess Charges.As a sharing community, our members share medical bills based on fair, reasonable and honorable pricing. Our first priority is to keep costs down for our members.

Liberty HealthShare is Accountable and Transparent.Liberty HealthShare practices person-to-person sharing of medical costs. You always know what amount you contribute, where your money goes, what your medical bills cost, what bills have been shared, and when your bills have been paid.

Liberty HealthShare is an Open Community.Liberty HealthShare is open to all who subscribe to our shared Christian beliefs. We exist specifically for anyone who wants to take direct control of their health care.

Liberty HealthShare is about choices. Liberty HealthShare offers three options of health sharing that you can choose from: Liberty Complete, Liberty Plus, and Liberty Share.

Liberty HealthShare members share in “Actual Costs” not projections.Liberty HealthShare members share in "Actual Costs,” not inflated projections, allowing members to enjoy lower share amounts. "Projections" tend to keep costs high and continually rising.

Liberty HealthShare has a 60 day refund policy. If for any reason you want to discontinue within the first 60 days, and you’ve not submitted any bills, we’ll refund your monthly share completely . . . no questions asked!

Liberty HealthShare offers End of Life Financial Assistance.After 2 years of continuous membership, Liberty HealthShare offers End of Life Financial Assistance to help ease the costs its members face during the loss of a family member.

ACTION STEP #1: COMPLETE THE APPLICATION Fill out the enclosed Sharing Member Enrollment Application for yourself and your family. If you prefer, you can apply on-line. Go to www.LibertyHealthShare.org to submit your application on-line.

ACTION STEP #2: MAKE YOUR PROGRAM SELECTION Decide which program meets your needs the best and select Liberty COMPLETE, Liberty PLUS or Liberty SHARE.

ACTION STEP #3: SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL Sign and date all the signature lines on the Sharing Member Enrollment application and remit your first annual Membership Dues. Make sure all information requested is filled out completely. Incomplete responses may delay application approval. Send the completed application form and first year annual dues to Liberty.

ACTION STEP #4: RECEIVE YOUR WELCOME PACKET Upon Application approval, you will receive a Membership Welcome Packet with Membership Cards and additional information. You will be advised of your start date and the due date of your first suggested Monthly Share Amount. During the first two months, you’ll send your Monthly Share Amount to Liberty HealthShare. In the third month and following you will be assigned to send your monthly share directly to another Sharing Member who has medical expenses through your own, secure, online ShareBox.

Liberty HealthShare is made up of like-minded individuals who voluntarily

share one another’s medical expenses. Our core beliefs mobilize our actions, and we

I believe it is my biblical and ethical obligation to assist my fellow man when

they are in need according to my available resources and opportunity.

I believe it is my spiritual duty to God and my ethical duty to others to maintain a

healthy lifestyle and avoid foods, behaviors or habits that produce sickness or disease to

myself or others.

I believe it is my fundamental right of conscience to direct my own healthcare in

consultation with physicians, family or other valued advisors, free from

government dictates, restraints, and oversight.
