Thank you to Mrs. Fontaine for her work as the
coach of this team!
Students, staff and the greater community have
been working diligently and in many different waysto support the Grady family via the “We’re NUT
Giving Up” campaign. We are very proud of these
excellent examples of empathy, character andcontribution and once again reflect on how
fortunate we are to be part of this community
school.
Many of you are aware that consideration is being
given to introducing an Early French Immersion
program at R-O as a means to become a full service
school offering both Core and EFI programming.
We have engaged in some data gathering over the
past several weeks and have provided this
information to the Board for consideration. Nodecision has yet been made about the timelines for
introducing this program but we will communicate
further as information becomes available.
We are approaching the mid-term point in
Semester 2 and will be hosting Secondary Parent-
Teacher Interviews on Tuesday, April 1st, 6-8 PM.
Report cards for secondary students will be sent
home during the week of April 14th. Parents are
encouraged to attend interviews or to contact ourteachers at any time you have questions, concerns
or simply want to check-in on your child’s learning.
A reminder that the School Council Meeting has
been changed from Tuesday, April 1st to Tuesday,
April 8th at 6:00 PM.
Easter falls a bit later this year on April 18th -
21st. We wish you a restful Easter weekend and a
warm and snow-free beginning to Spring.

Intermediate
The Intermediate Girls Basketball team has been
working very hard this past month and have
produced amazing results on the basketball court.
The girls first participated in an invitationaltournament held at CCVS. In this tournament,
they went undefeated through round robin play and
came up just short by five points in the final game
to La Citadelle.
Their second tournament was the qualifier for the
Upper Canada Cup. Once again, the girls worked
hard and played amazingly as a team, both
offensively and defensively, to come away as
champions defeating St. Lawrence in the final game
35-7.
The girls are off to Smith Falls this Friday tocompete for the Upper Canada Cup. Good luck
girls!!!Summer Fontaine
