Andregardless of your politicalstandings, we all should wishfor the swift and safe return ofall our troops overseas.Remember, it’s not the news-

papers and reporters that giveus freedom of speech, it is ourmen and women in uniformwho do that. So lets get to it!

Mark’s Spitfire joins his manyother WW2 designs availablein MAN’s RCStore.com web-site. The 42-inch-span Spitfireuses 3-channels (no-rudder,)for control. Other designsMark has published in MANare, the P-51D Mustang, P-40Warhawk, Me-109E, Ki-61,Tony, SBD Dauntless, and theHawker Hurricane. (All rough-ly the same size.) So keepyour eyeballs peeled!

Gerry’s AT-6 TexanI couldn’t help myself withthis one so I included mynewest project here for youguys to see. This is the new E-flite “Platinum Series” AT-6Texan 25E available fromHorizon Hobby Distributors. This great 52-inch span Texanis very easy to assemblerequiring almost no gluing. The wings, tail surfaces and

the fuselage are all fully-sheet-ed and the wing panels andhorizontal stabs plug intoplace over aluminum tubejoiners. The wing is in 3-pieces and it comes with pro-visions to drop custom mademechanical Robart retractsright into place. The model isdesigned for the E-Flite Power25 outrunner motor and a 60amp Pro ESC. I used a 4200mAh 3-cell Lipo pack and thisgives a solid 10 to 12 minutesof flight time. Plenty for me.Oh, I forgot to mention, it alsocomes with 3-panel flaps.Actually, the whole model isassembled like a much largerairplane, and is very similar tothe 150-sized Hangar 9 P-47.The little Texan even has dualelevator servos. And it flieslike a bigger airplane too. Theflaps are very effective and inall, I love this first addition tothe Platinum Series of E-flite

warbirds. Hmmm, I wonder, what’s in the works for nextyear?
