d) poursuivre alors jusqu’à l’atterrissage,
General AD operating conditions
Possible IFR operations including out of ATS organism opening.
Procedures and special instructions
Half turn prohibited out of turn around area end of RWY for ACFT category Mand H.
Taxiing prohibited except on RWY and TWY.
Lead in and lead out lines and identification PRKG marks.
Special VFR
Special VFR authorised VH 3000 m - Ceiling 450 m.
AD equipment
For all the remoted functions, the lighting remote control system depends on theambient light measured by a photoelectric cell.
It can be used only at night and in ATS absence.
PCL: Lighting aids remote-controlled by VHF.
- 3 microphone switch action in less than 5 sec: RWY + PAPI+ PRKG Minimum brighting level.
- 5 microphone switch action in less than 5 sec: RWY + PAPI + PRKG + flashing lights.Maximum brighting level.
Lighting extinction after 15 min
Operating:15 min and extension of 15 min after 3 or 5 microphone switch action.
In case of failure:Wait 10 sec before another switch action.
Special radiocommunication instructions
Aircraft in VFR flight: (ministerial order of July 17th 1992, paragraph 4.4.1.)
If the radio communication equipment fails:
During the TWR operating hours:
- upon departure, the pilot-in-command must not take off,
- after take-off, the pilot-in-command turns around or lands at the closest rele-vant aerodrome,
- upon arrival, after receiving clearance to join aerodrome traffic, the pilot-in-command must follow this clearance and proceed flight until landing,
- upon arrival before receiving joining clearance, the pilot-in-command must:
a) from a height greater than the top of the aerodrome traffic circuits, ins-pect the aerodrome's air socks and condition of the maneuvering area'ssurface, in order to decide which runway to use and to ensure that thereis no apparent danger of using the aerodrome,
b) observe the position of the other aircraft in the aerodrome traffic,
c) join at the beginning of downwind at the height of the aerodrome trafficcircuit, ensuring visual separation with the aircraft already in the aerodro-me traffic and leaving them the right of way,
d) proceed until landing,
e) after arrival, contact the TWR supervisor by phone.
