A Note From Our Executive Director
Summertime is always a fun time of year. Here in Florida it also
brings storms and the warm humid air. When you are outside
going for a walk, out in the garden, or just sitting in the courtyard,
please make sure you dress in light color clothing, light weight
clothes, and please hydrate. If you need a bottle of water, please
ask one of Discovery Village staff members and we will be glad to
help. I also need to remind you that our insect friends are visiting
more as well. We do have an outstanding pest control program
but those mosquitoes still seem to find a way to visit even when
you don’t want them to. I hope you and your families are all
enjoying this wonderful summer.
