SAVE THE DATE JUNE 14TH – 16TH 2013 FOR THE BENNETT FAMILY REUNION
BE N N E T T FA M I L Y RE U N I ON

Hello Family-
I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and good spirits!
Before too long June 2013 will be upon us and you know what
that means, REUNION TIME! We are very excited about this new
format we are unveiling for our upcoming reunion. In 2003, at
the Las Vegas Reunion, the Reunion Committee discussed the
ideas of a new format for our Family Reunion. Since then the
Reunion Planning Committee has been working diligently trying
to come up with ways to keep our ideals going. We have made
some changes that would even out the responsibility among 6
Family Regional Groups. Each region will be responsible for
collecting dues, keeping Family members informed and
coordinating Regional Family Events. But planning is not
enough; Family participation is crucial if we’re going to make this
Reunion a success. You can do your part by assisting the
Reunion Planning Committee in the following way.
o Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 14th
through June16
th2013, for this historical event.
o Participate in Family Regional Fundraising Events.
o Spread the word to other Family Members about the
Reunion and Our Family Sites.
o Get Involved. Volunteer to help out as much as you can.
It has been several years since our last Bennett Family Reunion.
Your input and suggestions are highly encouraged. With
everyone’s participation and cooperation, this could be the best
Reunion yet!

the Family’s feedback as soon as possible on the Host City for

Why Family Is Important
By Nicole Bennett
Family is a word that everyone is familiar with. Without
family, who would we be today? But do we really know wit means? A Family is like a circle; there is no beginning and
end. It just keeps on going from one generation to the next.
Family is important. Family is not just limited to only
ancestors, but also the ones brought into our families
marriage. Family teaches us love... encouragemen
understanding... hope... comfort... advice... values... mora
ideals... and best of all, our faith. We have been taught
