5 Keys to Legendary Leadership
From an Interview with Bob Burg on the book

A Conversation with Bob Burg – The Go-Giver Leader
READ THIS FIRSTWhen you brand your business around the idea of being a giver, you set yourself up for a lot of scrutiny. If you fail to give, your brand is inconsistent with its promise and that’s not good.
I met Bob Burg a few months ago, I’ve had about a dozen interactions with him since then. Without fail, Bob lives up to his brand promise. He has always been gracious and generous with his time and resources. He really practices what he preaches.
This slide deck covers the 5 Keys of Legendary Leadership from Bob Burg & John David Mann’s book, The Go-Giver Leader. The last slide has links to Bob’s website, where you can buy his book. It also has a link to the show notes page of The Platform Giant Show where you can read more about our conversation on leadership.

HOLD THE
VISIONIt’s the leader’s job to keep
the big picture in mind and
know where the enterprise
is going. It’s easy when
things are going well. It’s
not so easy when they go
sideways.
BUILD YOUR PEOPLE
No matter what the enterprise
does, no matter what its product
or service is, it's fundamentally
about its people.
A leader must have a vision for the company and must also understand the “nuts and bolts” of what the enterprise does.
DO THE
STAND FOR SOMETHING
A leader must remain rooted in some sort of moral code.
A Go-Giver Leader is adaptable, but there are somethings that can’t be compromised.
PRACTICE
LEADERSHIPYour focus must shift from
a “me” centered to a “you”
centered paradigm
