CSR PROJECT AT BATHINDA - PUNJAB
A Cancer Screening Camp was organized by Mr Anup Singh, Project officer and Dr D K Bansal Medical
Officer in village Balluana of Bathinda on 28th
July, 2019. 240 pa,ents were screened, 70 blood tests and
1 FNAC were done. The camp was inaugurated by Jathedar Jagseer Singh and Sarpanch Tehal Singh of
Balluana village.
A Cancer Screening Camp was organized by Mr Anup Singh, Project officer and Dr D K Bansal Medical

August, 2019. 222 pa,ents were screened, 72
blood tests and 1 FNAC were done.

CSR PROJECT AT BATHINDA - PUNJAB
A Cancer Screening Camp at village Chugge in Bathinda in Punjab was organised on 8th
September, 2019 by GCCI
Bathinda project team including Dr D K Bansal-Medical Officer, Mr Anoop Singh - Project Officer, Ms Navjyot
Kaur - Nurse and Ms Ramandeep Kaur – Counsellor. In the camp, 180 pa,ents were screened. 63 Blood Tests, 1
USG and 1 FNAC Test were conducted. 1 suspected case of cancer, 2 CA pa,ents and 4 cases of Hepa,,s were
found.
CSR PROJECT AT BATHINDA - PUNJAB
A Cancer Screening Camp was conducted on 13th Oct., 2019 at Vill. Jassi Bagwali in Dis>. Bathinda. During
the camp, 205 beneficiaries were screened and 82 Pathological tests were conducted. The camp was con-
ducted with the help of Dr. Chitar Lekha Bansal - Gynae, Dr. Darshan Kumar Bansal - Surgeon and Dr.
Shelly Bansal - Gen Physician. Mr. Anoop Singh - Project Officer, Ms. Ramandeep Kaur – Counselor, Ms.
Navjot Kaur Sidhu - Staff Nurse were present. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Karamjeet Singh.
BATHINDA - PUNJAB
STUDENT SENSITISATION PROGRAMME at ST. JOSEPH’S CONVENT SCHOOL,
BATHINDA (PUNJAB)
A special morning assembly was organised in the school on 12th July, 2019 wherein Principal, Sr.
Veena D’Souza, handed over the dona,on to Mr Sukhdeep Gill (SDDRM - North Zone) and Mr Sukhdev
Singh. A special vote of thanks was given by Mr Sukhdeep Gill.
St Joseph's Convent School, Bathinda has been a>ached with GCCI for many years. An awareness pro-
gram was conducted in the school in the month of May 2019 by Mr Sukhdev Singh (General Manager at
Ludhiana). The students and the staff were apprised about the ac,vi,es of GCCI in detail along with the
importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They were informed about the various aspects of GCCI’s
project based in Bathinda. The students were also sensi,sed to par,cipate in the fundraising drive. The
school gave a tremendous response to the cause of cancer by contribu,ng Rs 6,38,700/-.

A Cancer Screening Camp was organised at Lelewala Village, Talwandi Sabo, Punjab on 15th
Sept., 2019 by
GCCI’s team including Dr. Pawan Kumar, Dr. Pri, Jindal, Ms. Amandeep Kaur - Nurse, Ms. Karamveer Kaur –
Nurse and Mr. Sandeep Kaushal – Project Officer. 127 persons a>ended the camp.

Rana – Manager Chandigarh visited GCCI supported Computer Training Centre (SoKware & Hardware) at
Pa,ala, Punjab on 26th
July, 2019 for the children belonging to poor stratum of the society specially belong-
ing to the families afflicted with cancer. He also interacted with GCCI’s staff of MOBILE PRIMARY HEALTH,
CANCER SCREENING AND PALLIATIVE CARE UNIT at Nabha.
LUDHIANA - PUNJAB
Mr Sukhdeep Singh Gill, Sr Dy Director – North Zone and Mr Sukhdev Singh General Manager addressed the
students of GMT School, Kakkowal Road, Ludhiana on 18th and 19th July, 2019 in context of Cancer Educa,on
Programme. Mrs Amarjit Dhaliwal, Principal of the School on this occasion appreciated the mul,pronged cancer
care work of GCCI.

PUNE - MAHARASHTRA
On 23rd
August 2019, Ms. Mamta Nath – Sr. GM, Pune organised orienta,on programme on Cancer Awareness
and Health and Hygiene for senior girls and boys of Dr. (Mrs.) Erin N. Nagarvala School, Kalyani Nagar, Pune.
Around 400 students got benefited from these programmes. Dr. Shailaja Munshi gave the awareness talk to the
girls and Dr. Sharmila Correya gave the awareness talk to the boys.
RUPNAGAR - PUNJAB
Mr Shivpal Singh Rana (Manager - Chandigarh Team) conducted Cancer Educa,on Program in the Genius
Interna,onal Public School, Rupnagar Punjab on 26th
Aug., 2019. About 2000 students and staff members
par,cipated. They were sensi,sed on GCCI's projects and program as well as various symptoms and risk
factors associated with cancer.

CSR PROJECT AT SITAMARHI — BIHAR
Every year the floods in North Bihar play havoc with the lives of people. The floods cause shortage of food, loss
of connec,vity, poor health services etc. The project "Mobile Primary Healthcare, Cancer Screening, Cancer
Awareness and Pallia,ve care" funded by Na)onal Payments Corpora)on of India (NPCI) is being implemented
by GCCI in district Sitamarhi in Bihar. In view of the massive floods in Bihar, GCCI project team including Mr. Md.
Naved – Project Officer, Dr. Surendra Prasad – Medical Officer, Ms. Anuradha Kumari – Nurse, Mr. Ranjeet Ku-
mar- Counsellor and Mr. Anwar Ali – Driver, reached out to the flood affected areas and provided health care
services.

ERODE - TAMIL NADU
GCCI’s Chennai Team including Mr S Dass - Dy Director (Tamil Nadu) and Mr Rajesh Kumar-Sr Manager distrib-
uted cheques on 30th
Aug., 2019 under GCCI’s Student Scholarship Programme in Kalaimagal School, Erode to
the students belonging to the cancer afflicted families.

Since last year, GCCI has been providing Pallia,ve Care to the poor cancer afflicted pa,ents at
their homes in Chennai through its MOBILE PALLIATIVE CARE UNIT which was flagged off by Sh. K.
Pandia Rajan, Hon'ble Minister of Tamil Development, Culture and Archaeology of Tamil Nadu. This
is being supported by UDEY AHUJA MEMORIAL TRUST.
TRIUVALLUR - TAMIL NADU
A Cancer Screening Camp was organised on 24th
Aug., 2019 at Panchayat Union Primary School, Chi>athur,
Triuvallur district by Chennai GCCI team including Mr. S Dass - Dy Director, Dr Kavitha - Medical Officer and Mr
Rajesh Kumar- Sr Manager. 161 pa,ents were examined and 54 pathological tests were conducted in the camp.
A Cancer Screening Camp was organised on 27th
July, 2019 at Chennai High School, Kaladipet, TirivoRyur,
Tiruvallur district by Chennai GCCI team including Mr. S Dass - Dy Director, Dr Kavitha - Medical Officer and
Mr Rajesh Kumar- Sr Manager. 139 pa,ents were examined and 18 blood tests were conducted in the camp.

NAGPUR - MAHARASHTRA
Mr R B Deshpande, Dy Director - GCCI, Nagpur was given a warm Send – Off at Nagpur Office on his re,rement. Dr
Harvinder Singh Bakshi, CEO, GCCI who was present on this occasion, appreciated the hard work , sincerity and
pleasing disposi,on of Mr Deshpande who served the organisa,on for 20 years. Dr Bakshi men,oned that Mr Desh-
pande always exuded bonhomie and camaraderie in the team. Nagpur Team Members Mr Abhijit Dey, Manager
and Mr Vijay Waman Jog, Asst. Manager, praised Mr Deshpande for providing them a good leadership.

Primary Health Care & Cancer Screening Centre at Gurgaon.
CSR PROJECT AT FARIDABAD - HARYANA
A Cancer Awareness Programme was conducted on 8th July, 2019 in Azad Nagar Jhuggis, Faridabad. 89 persons
a>ended the programme. The awareness Programme was conducted by Dr. Moin Khan - Gen Physician, Mr.
Vijay Kumar –Project Officer and Mrs. Damayan, Mohanty - Nurse.
A Cancer Screening Camp was organised on 4th Aug., 2019 at Community Center, Near Gurjar Chowk, Behind
Delite Hotel, AC Nagar, NIT, Faridabad. During the camp, 204 number beneficiaries (male/female) were
screened and 28 number of Pathological tests were conducted. The camp was conducted by Mr Vijay Kumar,
Project Officer – GCCI, Faridabad and medical team including Dr Pree, - Gynae, Dr. Lakshit Kumar - ENT, Dr.
Moin N. Khan - Gen Physician and Ms Damyan, - Nurse. The people who assisted were Ms Shashi Pa,l, Mr
Sahrukh and Mr Golu Kumar.

A Cancer Awareness Programme was conducted on 19th August, 2019 at Autopin Ki Jhuggies, Sec.24, Faridabad.
During the camp, 109 persons (males/females) a>ended the programme. The awareness Programme was con-
ducted with the help of Dr. Moin Khan - Gen Physician, Mr. Vijay Kumar - Project Officer and Mrs. Damayan, Mo-

A Cancer Awareness Programme was conducted on 10th
Oct., 2019 at Sant Siromani Ravidas Mandir, Kalyanpur,
Near Sanjay Colony, Faridabad by GCCI’s Faridabad Team including Dr Moin Khan - Gen Physician, Mr Vijay Ku-
mar - Project Officer and Ms Jolly Raju (ANM). 66 persons (male/female) par,cipated in the programme.
A Student Sensi,sa,on Programme was organised at Aggarwal Public School, Sector – 3, Faridabad on 19th
August, 2019 by Mr. Md. Aslam – Sr. GM (Educa,on) – NCR of GCCI.
FARIDABAD - HARYANA
A Student Sensi,sa,on Programme was held at Mahadev Desai Sr Sec School, Sec 16-A, Faridabad on 22nd Oct.,
2019 by Mr. Md. Aslam – Sr.GM (NCR) of GCCI. The programme was a>ended by 600 students along with 35 staff
members. Ms. Nirmala Sharma - Director of the School and Mr. Kaushik - Vice Principal appreciated the work of
GCCI in the field of cancer care.
STUDENT SENSITISATION PROGRAMMES
PINJORE - HARYANA
A screening camp was held at St. Vivekanand Millennium School, HMT Township, Pinjore, Haryana on August 4,
2019. During this camp 25 males and 39 females were screened. 7 PAP Smears and 58 blood tests (such as HB,
TLC, DLC, etc) were also done on the spot. The camp was conducted with the help of Dr D K Oberoi (MD Medi-
cine) and Dr Mrs Ranjana Oberoi - Consultant Gynaecologist. Mr Sukhdeep Gill - SDDRM - North Zone and Mr
Shivpal Singh Rana - Manager-Chandigarh Team coordinated the camp.
CSR PROJECT AT GURGAON - HARYANA
SYNEOS HEALTH is suppor,ng GCCI’s CHILD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME. To have a fun-filled interac,on
with the children, Mr. Inderbir Singh (Senior Director) and the core team of Syneos invited GCCI's team and
the beneficiaries to their office on 6th Aug., 2019. The children enjoyed the joyful yet informa,ve interac-
,on, and the sumptuous brunch. A big thanks from the kids to Mr. Singh and en,re Syneos family.

very enthusias,cally. Useful informa,on pertaining to cancer risk factors, symptoms and preven,on was

ness to GCCI for conduc,ng a very useful programme.
