2. 4-week workshop that meets weekly at Central Library All materials provided Kids ages 9-12 and their parents 3. You need: *PVC pipe and connectors *Paper *Masking tape *Scissors *Empty water bottles of different volumes 4. *Use the pipe to shape your rocketmake sure its air-tight! 5. *Attach the water bottleair-tight!and STOMP! 6. We tried different sized bottles. Smaller bottle = less force. Larger bottle = more force. 7. The challenge: to make a wing that can rotate you in an office chair. 8. You need: *Paper or other wing material *Wooden dowels *Wrapping paper tubes *Masking tape *Scissors 9. You need: *Wire or paper clips *Craft sticks *Masking tape *Scissors *Push pins OR: *Pencils *Rubber bands ALSO: *Plastic spoons and knives 10. The challenge: to pick up and crush a real chicken egg! 11. Youll need: *Construction paper *Scissors *A ruler *Tape *PVC pipe (to shape the paper tubes) 12. Cut equal-sized strips of paper and roll them around the pipe to make identical tubes. Then tape the tubes together into a honeycomb pattern. The more the better! STRENGTH IN NUMBERS! 13.
