12. Company Profile
LANSKY, GANZGER + partner (LGP) is a Central European law firm bridging
businesses, national and international political institutions. The firm draws on ex-
cellent ties in governmental networks both in Central Asia and within the European
Union and provides clients with the capacity to work across several jurisdictions in a
wide range of fields. Through its offices in Vienna (Austria), Baku (Azerbaijan),

Bratislava (Slovakia), as well as numerous partner firms, LGP is represented
throughout Europe and worldwide. As a maverick international law firm beyond loose
networks and franchise systems, LGP focuses on professional experience and
knowledge of local markets in selecting cooperation partners. Meanwhile the firm has
legal experts from the respective target markets working with LGP. These native
speakers from the respective nations serve as multilingual interfaces.
LANSKY, GANZGER + partner (LGP) provides comprehensive consulting in the
business world with a strong focus on the following legal fields: Banking law - capital
market law - constitutional law - competition law - corporate law (including tax law) -
criminal law - employment law - environmental law - EU subsidy law - European law -
general administrative law - M&A - media law - procurement law - real estate law -
telecommunication law - tort law.
LGP advises both private- and public-sector clients in all areas of private and public
law. In addition to representing commercial clients, the firm has celebrated strength in
the public and near-public sector, having carried out numerous mandates in
transportation (aviation, railroads etc.), energy, and communal services. LGP
represents sovereign states in connection with issues of international public law, and
such issues as bringing regulations into EU and other international standards
compliance as well as private and public clients in international arbitration matters.
Unlike many international law firms that establish local regional offices, LGP is one of
few that prefers to associate with strong local partners who proactively use their well-
organized political and business contacts to serve clients in their countries. A recent
example of the strategy: 2009 LGP has built an alliance of independent law firms
covering the entire area of former Yugoslavia (LGP Legal Solutions). Based on this
model the firm finds customized legal solutions for every case supported by an
internationally experienced team in Vienna.
LGP is also a member of Euro-Defi/Juris-Defi, the European network of attorneys,
auditors and accountants. Moreover, Gerald Ganzger has been admitted to the Bar
of Bratislava, and Gabriel Lansky to the Bar of Bratislava, Budapest and Brussels,
where he can lobby the European Union on behalf of clients' interests. Gabriel
