As the energy sectoris undergoingsignificant changes,Engie, a majorenergy supplier,must digitalize itsservices. To face thatchallenge, thecompany initiatedan innovative project: the smart cabinsolution.

To minimize the delay in the development &commercialization of the solution, Edgefirst  analysed the maturity of the project.Then our consultants supported Engie onthe following points:

In order to confirm the viability of the smartcabin solution, Edge audited the currentprocess and identified the main blockingpoints. Then, Edge mapped out a strategyto accelerate the solution development,finalize the solution design and allindividual components. Edge subsequentlydefined the full customer life cycle andtarget delivery to build the smart cabinservices and created a detailed businesscase.

Edge built processes related to the alertsfrom sensors and to predictivemaintenance. Beyond planning, Edge alsofollowed up weekly on the design andimplementation project team to make surethat the project was advancing at theplanned pace.

At the end of the project, the MVP wascreated and is now present on several sites.The services delivery process were designedas well as the sales presentation to start thecommercialization.
