Introduction to Negotiating Styles and Their Relative Effectiveness

September 23, 2016
Diane Dimond attended the University of Iowa, where she received her
undergraduate degree, and Harvard Law School. She began practicing
law in 1977 on Wall Street in New York City, and then moved to NC,
where she continued her litigation practice at Poyner Spruill, where she
was the second female partner in the firm. In 1994, Ms. Dimond joined
Duke Law School’s faculty, directing the legal writing program there.
She teaches at Duke Law School, and has won the Duke Bar Association
Distinguished Teaching Award.
