Island Queen 2011Island Queen Reality TV• ProductionofanIslandQueenrealitytelevisionshow.Theshowwill consistof13half-hourepisodes,whichwillbedistributedregionallyand internationally,exposingpartnerbrandswellbeyondBarbados’shores.• Therealityshowwillfeaturethe‘behindthescenes’viewofthe event,includinginteractionbetweenthecontestants,competitionsand challenges.• Fivecontestantswillbeeliminatedduringtherealityshow,whichwill serveasthefirststageofthecompetition.• Sixoftheseepisodeswillbebroadcastlocallyaspartofthemarketing campaignleadinguptotheevent.
Contestant Recruitment• Highlypublicized6-weekrecruitmentperiod(January–February2011), marketedthroughsocialmedia,recruitmentvideosfeaturingpast winnersandon-the-spotrecruitment.• Goalofrecruitingminimum25%non-Barbadiancontestantparticipation, withrepresentationfrom(5)Caribbeanterritories.
Competition Logistics• Eventwillbebrokenintotwo(2)weeksofcompetition,firstweek prelimsandsecondweekfinals.• Twenty(20)contestantswillbeselectedtoparticipateinthereality show.Thiswillthenbereducedtofifteen(15)contestantsforthe preliminarieswhichwillbereducedtoten(10)contestantsforthefinals.
Event Production• Theeventwillbedividedintotwo(2)parts:thecompetitionrunning from4:00pm-7:00pmandtheafter-party7pm-midnight• Eacheventwillbehostedbyamale/femalecombooflocalor internationalcelebrities• Entertainmenttoincludelocal,regionalandinternationalDJs&Perfomers
Beach Party • Forthefinals,theeventwillbeheldononeoftheisland’sbeacheswith acatwalksetuponthesandalongwithcocktailsbars,screens,cabanas andaVIPlounge.

Island Queen Calendar Aspartof theexpansionof the IslandQueenbrand, Innoventivewillproducea(12)monthcalendarfeaturingselected2011finalistsalongwiththepreviouswinners.Thecalendarwillbeshoton location inBarbadosandshowcasetheislandasasophisticatedandupscaledestinationfilledwithexotic localesandgorgeouswomen.
Island Queen AgencyAnadditionalexpansionoftheIslandQueenbrandin2011willbethecreationoftheIQAgency.Theagencywillprovideopportunitiestoourcontestantsbeyondthescopeofthecompetitionandhelpthemgainworksinareassuchasprintadvertising, commercials, makeup, fashion shows, hosting, video as well asfashionrunwaymodelsandstreetteamwork.
