We arrived internationally into the
United States with a passenger
that has told us they had a U.S.
Visa, when in fact it was an ESTA
authorization under the Visa
Waiver Program from a previous
commercial flight to the U.S.
US Visa issued by Embassy vs. ESTA

5
The U.S. has a Visa Waiver
Program (VWP).
Must arrive on an approved air
carrier to take advantage of the
VWP. Some Part 91 operators and
135 Air Carriers operate under the
Visa Waiver Program.
Verify passengers have a current
visa if you are not part of the VWP.
If part of the VWP verify
passengers have completed ESTA
and have printed confirmation
