President’s Message
Ready, set, GO... Snowmass here we
come! We are getting an early Saturday morning start! Can't hardly wait! This prom-
ises to be an awesome trip and the snow is good this year! I just pulled the mountain
report: Tuesday's High Temperature 14°F, Tuesday's Low Temperature -2°, and Runs
Open = 321 out of 333! And Saturday's fore-cast is for mostly cloudy with scattered snow
showers and are expecting 6 to 9 inches of snowfall (15 to 23cm). Sorry, I get excited
when a trip is coming up. I'd better mention that our Superbowl party will be February
7th at John Ostner's office, so look for all the details further in the newsletter! February's
Friday Night Flights will be at Twin Peaks in
Little Rock. Also should mention that our day at the races, Oaklawn that is, will be Re-
bel Stakes Day again (March 19th). We are also looking at having a picnic April 17th, so
keep that day OPEN, and a Traveler's Game in May! Keep up-to-date by reading the en-
tire monthly newsletter. In the mean-time, THINK SNOW!

SNOWMASS $1499. per person (includes air, ground transfers, condo & 5 day of 6 day lift ticket.)
Snowmass, Colorado is to many skiers, the perfect ski mountain and it may just be. It is always up at the top of the ratings for Favorite Ski Areas in the polls and has been named the number one ski area several times. And, if you need more than one or two mountains to bring you thrills, well there are actually three more just minutes away. Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands & Buttermilk are just a short shuttle ride, and you can ski all four mountains with your lift ticket. Lodging is in the Top of the Village Condos and are ski in and ski out. Other amenities include a pool, hot tub and shuttle on call. There are many great restaurants, shopping and activities for the skier or non skier to indulge in, so a great time will be in store if you are one of the lucky ones going ! Payable in three payments of $500, $500. & $499.

(Wed. to Wed.) SOLD OUT - Add On Space by multiples of four, if Available, and prices may have changed for additional condos & Air.
Includes air, ground transfers, condo and 4 day lift ticket
Two mountains. One for everybody
& one for those who dare for more !
Winter Park ski area is the closest major ski area to Denver & and was often overlooked because it did not have the glitzy reputation of Aspen or Vail. The mountains have always been known for great skiing and now the base has been updated & there is no excuse to stay away any longer. The Mary Jane ski area offers more advanced terrain for those skiers who want a bigger thrill on the steeps. The Zephyr Mountain condos are located at the base area & offer easy access to the lifts (50 yds) and other base area facilities. This ski trip is Wednesday to Wednesday and offers a tremendous value. Limited space ! LRSC membership required. Final payment due
