Points of departure
• Many SMEs lack an innovation process with a capacity to develop more radical ideas.
• Design methodology, on condition that it is supported by management, leads to ”organisational surges” that affect the innovation climate positively.
• There is an innovative power in the design process/design thinking that can be used as an alternative or complementary way of working.
