Sending messages from the MDT
You can send two types of messages from the MDT to dispatch
• “Canned” MessagesA list from up to 99 frequently used predefined or
“canned” messages. To send one of the canned messages to dispatch, highlight (touch) the desired message.
• “Created” MessagesIf you need to send something to dispatch that is not
addressed by a canned message, you can type in a custom message of up to 256 characters and then transmit it.
