New Hope
New Vision
New Spirit
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”
John 14:15
Worship can be likened to breathing for all that could claim the name of Jesus Christ. It is for us a time of renewal, commitment, and proclamation. Our God is great and holy, worthy of our praise of-ferings. There is nothing better than the worship of God in spirit and truth. To be in the presence of the one who is Lord of the universe is to be caught up in awe and wonder. We are called to lay aside those concerns of lesser value and enter into worship with all of our hearts, minds, and souls. We are called to actively affirm our faith in the shared experiences of worship. We participate in the connections made in the fellowship of spirit through hymns and prayer; fellowship of receiving through bread and cup, scripture and pastoral message. We are gifted by the Spirit as God breathes life into our corporate gath-erings and our personal beings. We are called to worship and to allow each component to renew and to bless us as we experience the love of our God.
You will want to be present in worship during the month of July as we continue to explore the emerging church as it is found in the book of Acts. Invite a friend or family member to join you in wor-ship. Share the love….as CHRISTIAN LOVE IS CONTAGIOUS!
Members of the General Board of New Hope Christian Church should plan to participate in the regular board meeting which is scheduled for July 16th. The meeting will begin at 1:30 PM in fellowship hall. There are several items that will be on the agenda for discussion. If you are an Elder, Deacon, Head of one of our Teams, Trustee, or Church officer you are encouraged to attend. Make a point to mark this date on your calendar.

What’s Inside
Yes! It’s summer time! That means trips to the lake, family
reunions and vacations. But that doesn’t mean you take a va-
cation from Worship. If you are in town on Sunday then your
pew at New Hope is waiting for you.
