Welcome to the eleventh edition of news@one – the first
edition of 2014.
Usually the first week or two of a New Year pass by without much in theway of news or controversy in the legal world. Most lawyers are returningfrom their festive break to a full inbox or groaning filing cabinet and arekeen to clear the decks and resume normal service. This year, however, wehave already witnessed the unprecedented events of 6th January and seenthe rather disappointing results of the Judicial Review into QASA.
The first quarter of 2014 has started with a bang, it seems. There arechallenging times ahead for the Bar and Solicitors alike, but One PaperBuildings face the future optimistic that we will make the most of the
