Inauguration of B.Ed. Session 2017-18 cum Celebration of Van Mahotsav
B.Ed. session 2017-18 was inaugurated by celebrating Van Mahotsav on 22nd
August 2017. Chairman of college management committee Sh. Manjit Singh and
President Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani were presented on this occasion. Members of college
management committee Ram Krishan Pal, Panchayat Pradhan of Nahlwin Sh. Jugal
Kishore, Principal, Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and staff members were also present on this
occasion. They all participated in plantation and pledged for the conservation of
environment. At last programme was ended with National Anthem.
Guest Lecture
A guest lecture on Role of Teacher in Education was organized in Raj Rajeshwri
College of Education, Bhota on 24th August 2017. Chief Editor Him Academy Hamirpur
Sh. Tirath Ram Sharma explained the Moral Values, Birth of English Language and
Psychology of Education. He also motivated the Pupil teachers for being a good and
honest teacher in life because teacher is nation builder and he helps in development of
society and nation. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman thanked Sh. Tirath Ram Sharma for
motivating pupil teachers and honoured chief guest by giving guest of honour.

Teacher’s Day Celebration
On the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Saravpalli Radhakrishanan, Teachers
day was celebrated on 05th September 2017 in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education,
Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur (H.P.)-176041.
Different type of cultural activities like group song, solo song, skit, speech were
presented by pupil teachers. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman was chief guest on this
occasion and said that beside 2nd president and 1st Vice Prisident, Dr. Radhakrishanan
like to be a teacher first. Coordinator of the programme Smt. Sunita Gautam, college
staff and pupil teachers were presented on this occasion.
Hindi Diwas
Hindi Diwas was celebrated at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 14th
September 2017. Different type of cultural activities on importance of Hindi Diwas were
organized . Vice Chancellor(Career Point University) Dr. P.L. Gautam was chief guest on
this event. Dr. P.L. Gautam was chief guest on this event. Dr. P.L. Gautam shared his
views about Hindi Diwas as Hindi is our National language we should respect it except
English. About 50 crore people use Hindi for communication. Hindi is second in mostly
talakative languages after Chinese. Chairman of college management committee Sh.

Extension Lecture
An extension lecuture on Biography and achievements of Mahadevi Verma was
organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 31st August 2017. Resource
person Mr. Nitin Kumar Gupta discussed the life history and achievements of Mahadevi
Verma. A famous writer of Hindi literature was also a skilled speaker, painter and
actress as well. She was also known as Meera of modern era. Her achievements were
non-forgatable. She was honoured as Gyanpith award in field of literature. He said we
can never forget her contribution in literature. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, staff
member and pupil teachers were presented on this occasion.
State Level Inter Cultural Programme
A state level Inter Cultural programme was organized by D.D.M. Sai College of
Education, Kallar, Jalari (Nadaun) on 28th September 2017 in which pupil teachers of
Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota participated in solo and group dance. Solo
dance by Shikha bagged third position and group dance bagged second position in this
competition. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman congratualated the pupil teachers for their
best programme and also motivated all pupil teachers to participated in such type of
activities.
Extension Lecture
An extension lecture on Humourous Teaching Learning was organized in Raj
Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 29th September 2017. Principal of College Dr.
Raj Kumar Dhiman was resource person of this lecture. He said that Humour is most
important in teaching-learning process. There are four types of Humour
1. Affiliative Humour
2. Self Inhance Humour

3. Aggressive Humour
4. Self defeating Humour
Activeness, Skillness, awareness are most important qualities of a good teacher. A
teacher should have a healthy physique & mind. A teacher should involve student in
teaching learning process to make it effective. College staff and pupil teachers of D.El.Ed.
and B.Ed. were presented on this occasion.
Mehandi Competition
Mehandi competition was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education,
Bhota on 07th October 2017 on occasion of Karva Chauth. Pupil teachers of D.El.Ed. and
B.Ed. participated in this competition. 1st position was bagged by Ravi House, Second by
Satluj House and 03rd position by Yamuna House
Rangoli Competition
A house wise rangoli competition was organized on occasion of Diwali on 17th October
2017. All D.El.Ed. and B.Ed. pupil teachers participated in this competition and 1st
position was bagged by Ravi House and 02nd position was bagged by Chinab house.
Extension Lecture

An extension lecture on Himachal Pradesh was organized in Raj Rajeshwari
College of Education, Bhota on 28th October 2017. Resource person Mrs. Pooja Devi
explained the information related to Himachal Pradesh thoroughly. State Himachal
Pradesh established on 1948 and is 18th state of India. There are twelve districts in H.P.
and each district has its own culture. She also explained history of the temples situated
in H.P., culture of the state and its climate were also the points of discussion in lecture.
Staff members and pupil teachers of D.El.Ed., B.Ed. were presented on this occasion.
Poster Making Competition
A poster making competition for voting awareness was organized at Raj
Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 01st November 2017. All pupil teachers of
D.El.Ed. and B.Ed. participated in this competition. 1st position was bagged by Sulakshna
(Vyas House), Second position by Priyanka (Satluj house) and 03rd position was bagged
by Jyoti (Vyas house) in slogan writing competition. In poster making competition 1st
position was bagged by Satluj house, 02nd by Chinab house.
Work Shop
A Work shop on Art of Living was organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of
Education, Bhota on 07th November 2017. The work shop was inaugurated by Principal
Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and hosted on individual to overcome his problems. About 55
members participated in this course.
Children’s Day
Children s day was celebrated in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on
14th November 2017. Chairman of the college management committee Sh. Manjit Singh,
Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, Coordinator Smt. Sunita Gautam & staff members were
presented on this occasion. As this day is celebrated on the occasion of birth
anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. So Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman explained

biography of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Nehru wanted to celebrate his birthday as
children s day. Pupil teachers presented different cultural activities in programme and
expressed their views on Children s Day.
Educational Tour
Management committee of Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota organized
one day educational tour on 21st November 2017 for pupil teachers in which main
detinations were religious places Maa Jwalamukhi temple, Maa Chamunda, Maa
Brijeshwari temple in District Kangra (H.P.) . All teaching staff, pupil teachers enjoyed
this moment as educational tour helps us to know the importance of our culture.
Pratibha Khoj Karyakram-cum-Fresher’s Party
Pratibha Khoj Karyakram-cum-Fresher s Party was organized at Raj Rajeshwari
College of Education, Bhota on 25th November 2017. Programme was inaugurated by
Prof. P.L. Gautam (Vice Chancellor, Career Point University). Chairman of college
management committee Sh. Manjit Singh, President Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani, Member
Mrs. Indresh Kumari, Balbir Singh (Principal, Sr. Sec. School, Bhota) retired Sub. Sh.
Pirthi Chand were presented on this event. Different type of cultural activities were
performed by pupil teachers. At last Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher were selected. Pupil
teachers of D.El.Ed. Mr. Matul was Mr. Fresher and Nandita from B.Ed. course was Miss
Fresher. Chief Guest Prof. P.L. Gautam congratulated the winner. At last the programme
was ended with National Anthem.

Extension Lecture
An extension lecture on biography of Marie Curie was organized at Raj
Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 30th Novmeber 2017. Resource Person Mr.
Manoj Kumar explained briefly the life history of Marie Curie and her contributions in
field of Science. Marie Curie and Piere Curie got Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 for study
of radioactivity. In 1906, she took his place as professor of General Physics in the faculty
of Science, the first time a woman has held this position. Staff members and pupil
teachers were presented on this occasion
World AIDS Week
A rally on World AIDS Week under Red Ribbon Club was organized at Raj
Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 05th December 2017. Pupil teachers of
D.El.Ed. and B.Ed. participated in awareness rally. A skit on AIDS awareness was also
performed by pupil teachers in nearby village. Coordinator Mrs. Asha Devi, staff
members and pupil teachers were present on this occasion.
National Flag Day
National Flag Day was celebrated at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota
on 07th December 2017. Mrs. Pooja Devi was coordinator of the programme. Pupil
teachers presented activities like solo song, group song, speech etc. on this occasion. All
the staff members, pupil teachers were present on this occasion.
Debate Competion
A debate completion on Use of ICT in Education was organized at Raj
Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 16th December 2017 in which the pupil
teachers of D.El.Ed. and B.Ed. course participated. 1st position was bagged by Mittu
Singh, 02nd position by Pratibha Sharma and 03rd position was bagged by Renu Singh.
Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman congratulated the pupil teachers and motivated them
to participate in all type of activities. Staff members, pupil teachers were presented on
this occasion.
