Sector Skills Alliances 2018
Objective Tackling skills gaps with regard to one or more occupational profiles in a specific sector
How? Identify sector-specific labour market needs (demand side) and enhance the responsiveness
of VET systems, at all levels, to those labour market needs (supply side)
Activities supported Lot 1 - Skills needs identification Lot 2 - Design and delivery of VET Lot 3 - Implementation of a strategic approach (“Blueprint”) to sectoral
cooperation on skills Blueprint piloted in 6 sectors experiencing severe skills shortages:
Additive manufacturing, Construction, Maritime shipping, Paper-based value chain, Renewable energy & green technologies, Steel industry

What is the role of participating organisations? • Full partners: participating organisations which contribute actively to
the accomplishment of the Sector Skills Alliance. • Affiliated entities (optional): organisations which contribute to the
achievement of project objectives and activities. They are not counted for the minimum number of partners and partnership composition (eligibility criterion). They are receiving a grant and are listed in the grant agreement.
• Associated partners (optional): Sector Skills Alliances can involve associated partners who contribute to the activities of the Sector Skills Alliance. They are not receiving a grant and are not listed in the grant agreement.

• Register yourself and ask the partners to register in the Participant Portal
• Fill in the documents and submit the application package

Submit the application package (Validation and Submission)
• If you experience technical difficulties with the submission of your eForm - contact
the helpdesk ([email protected]) by email BEFORE the submission deadline, explaining the nature of the problem.
• If you face technical problems CLOSE TO THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE, please ALSO
send a screenshot of the submission error message and time of occurrence, as well as a copy of the eForm and attachments.
