1958 – Girls were allowed to join
Designed to attract young people not interested in ‘joining’ an organisation, or having wear a uniform to participate. Eg Scouts
2012 and beyond - Awards achieved continue to rise every year - now over 83,000 each year.
Make a difference to other people's lives.
Participation and improvement in physical activity.
Develop practical and social skills and personal interests.
You’ll plan an aim for your expedition, decide on your location and do lots of fun training to make sure you’re fully prepared and know what you’re doing.

Plan, train for and do a 2 day (1 night) expedition.

2 days, 1 night 4 – 7 people in an expedition team. 2 expeds - practice and qualifying
