8. Power (DC In)TP4 Power Supply
1. Membrane Power Switch Confirm TD2 is OFF
2a./2b. Source Drive Interface Connect IDE or SATA source drive to TD2
3a./3b. Source Drive Power Connect IDE or SATA to TD2 source drive power
4a./4b. SATA Destination Drive Interface Connect TD2 to SATA destination drive(s)
5a./5b. SATA Destination Drive Power Connect TD2 to SATA destination drive power
6. USB 2.0 Port Save logs to a USB storage device and/or use duplicator with a USB keyboard (optional)
7. FireWire 400 Port Connect TD2 to external computer for
firmware updates (via Tableau firmware update utility) as necessary
8. Power (DC In) Connect TP4 power supply to TD2 DC In
Powering on the TD2: Power on the TD2, source drive, and destination drive by pressing the TD2 membrane power switch.
Setup Wizard: Upon initial startup, the user will be prompted to configure the TD2. These settings will be saved for future duplications.
One Button Duplication: Follow instructions to connect drives and power-on the TD2. Press the start button to verify destination drive against presets and initiate duplication.
