This award is given eachyearbytheElishaWittChap-ter of the Daughters of theAmerican Revolution. Thecontestisintendedtoencour-ageandrewardthequalitiesofgoodcitizenship.Thestudentselectedmusthavethequali-ties of dependability, service,leadership and patriotism.Kayleedescribedhowshehastriedtoshowthequalitiesofagoodcitizenwith thefollow-inganswer: “When people think ofmakingadifferencetheythinksomeonehastodosomethingmajorinordertomakeadif-ferenceofimpact.However,Idonotbelievethatyouhavetodoanythingelaboratetomakeadifferenceinyourschoolorcommunity.
