Your Competency-based Medical Education
Program: An Introductory Workshop
Poster SessionsFacilitated poster sessions are scheduled in room 200AB
of the Quebec City Convention Centre. To participate in
these facilitated poster sessions, attendees should meet
at the first poster number of each session. The number is
located at the top of the poster board. At the designated
time, the facilitator will greet participants and presenters
at the first poster. Posters will be viewed and discussed as
a group. Each presenter has three minutes to present and
two minutes for questions and discussion.
DisclosureAll Speakers and Planning Committee members
must disclose the existence of any financial interests
or relationships with commercial entities such as
pharmaceutical organizations, medical device companies,
or communications firms. A list of disclosures is available
at the Registration Desk.
AbstractsAbstracts can be accessed through the ICRE Mobile
App, and on the ICRE web program. A limited number
of printed copies of the abstracts are available at the
Registration Desk. A PDF version of the abstracts is
also posted on the ICRE website.
To locate an abstract, refer to the alpha-numeric
code provided next to the session title.
The letters refer to the learning track and the number
refers to the abstract ID.
Paper and poster abstractsResearch paper abstracts have been published in
the Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME).
The published abstracts are posted online at
www.jgme.org with a limited number of printed
copies available at the Registration Desk. All What Works
paper and poster abstracts as well as research poster
abstracts are included with session abstracts and are
posted on our website at www.royalcollege.ca/icre.
Continuing Professional DevelopmentThe International Conference on Residency Education
is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as
defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of
the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada,
and approved by the Canadian Association of Emergency
Physicians for up to 52 hours. A certificate
of attendance will be emailed to all participants following
the conference.
