On the outskirts of Yuen Long, among well-made buildings is a
small refugee ghetto. The landlord owns four structures: three
for residents and one for ISS clients - the difference is obvious.
Four Pakistani and four Bangladeshi share a couple of two-
bedroom units. They repaired the leaky roof and back fence
after the landlord refused to spend money on improvements.
Yet together they pay more than 9000$ for this dump. Between
the wooden walls and metal sheets rats scurry at night … other
animals slither in from the ditch. A newborn baby lives here too.
